I've visited U:dessert many times between here and the Berkeley location! I love their many dessert options as there's always something for someone. This location appears a a bit small but they definitely make it work with many tables inside and out as well as three large tables to accommodate large parties! I like that they also accept reservations over the phone which makes the visit much more smoothly! My favorites to try are their mango sticky rice bingsoo, Thai toast, wings and croffles! - The special mango bingsoo comes with a large bowl of shaved ice and fresh mango pieces. On the side, there is coconut sticky rice, mango sauce, and a lighter condensed milk. This combination is delicious and the addition of the sticky rice is lovely! - The Thai tea toast comes with ice cream and a creamy Thai tea sauce! - The croffles are soft and perfectly chewy! - The wings here are crunchy with a sweet and spicy sauce! The best thing about the desserts here are they are borderline "not too sweet"! The desserts are very appetizing and you won't squirm much as these desserts are just sweet enough!

An adorable dessert cafe in the Castro just a few blocks from Dolores park! You can order to go or get a table here. They offer a wide range of desserts with Asian flavors. We ordered the mango sticky rice bingsoo, which was plenty for the two of us. It was heaping flaked ice with sticky rice and extra condensed milk to go with it. Super delicious

Our first time here. The door threw us off, because they double door, but they had a display case covering one side with the door open and the second door was closed--you just have to open the door that's not blocked. Upon entering we were greeted by the host, she was really nice and attentive. She seated us and brought water to the table. The decor was pretty cute, you can say its definitely instagram-worthy. There were about 6/7 tables and there were seats lined up at the front window facing the street. We scanned a QR code to view the menu, thankfully they have pictures--that is always helpful. The host came to take our order. She was pretty attentive to all the guest in the dining room. Our order arrived about 10 mins later. We orders their Signature cake sampler, valued at $46, but it costs $40. We always love the idea of samplers, so we can try more than one item, without breaking the bank. Our favorite of the three items was the thai tea + young coconut pandan crepe cake. Both were moist and the perfect hint of sweetness. Their version is the best ones I've had, compared to other places. The Banoffee was an acquired taste. The various flavors threw us off. We may need to give this one another try next time, but pair it with a hot beverage. Our visit overall was enjoyable. Perfect little dessert spot for a date night to share a slice or two.

Absolutely adorable environment! It was so nice when we were seated right away and their menu was really easy to follow! Tried the vegan strawberry snow ice and it was delicious!! Definitely coming back

Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the chance to visit. Usually deterred by the parking in the area, but we were able to score parking right around the corner. When we arrived on Sunday in the late afternoon, there were only a few tables occupied so we were seated immediately. Quite a few items to choose from that it made it difficult to decide. Hubs really wanted to try the coconut pandan crepe cake. I decided to try the Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsu as well as the Mango Matcha Fizz. The fizz was quite refreshing and not too sweet - enjoyable. The crepe cake arrived first. The coconut flavor definitely stood out, while the pandan was more subtle - light cake. Hubs would've probably preferred the coconut sauce to be served on the side rather than poured over the cake. For him, he noted the coconut was too pronounced and he really wanted the pandan flavor. I like coconut, so it was a good crepe cake for me. As for the bingsu, just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. I especially liked the yogurt topping. Cheesecake pieces found closer to the bottom - nice surprise. Overall, it was a nice sweet treat. Items were pricey so not somewhere we'd probably visit often, but I'd definitely return to try other menu items.

This dessert place is absolutely fantastic! The treats are delicious, and the service is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. And the ambiance is nice

Ordered the black sesame mochi milk tea, a seasonal special. It comes with 3 black sesame mochi balls, sliced grass jelly, lots of boba and milk tea over a flame. I found it to be overly sweet. The boba was chewy but because it was kept warm it was more on the softer side than I prefer. It at least kept me warm on this cold night. Also tried the cherry blossom smoothie, though it was more like a shake since it has lychee ice cream in it. There's no Sakura here though. There's flavors of strawberry, lychee and rose. It was also too sweet for my taste.

U Dessert Story in San Francisco is such a gem. From the outside, it looks small, but once you step in, there is actually a lot of seating, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy dessert. The service was amazing. Our server was very sweet, friendly, and really attentive to our needs, making us feel welcome. Now onto the desserts. Everything was so good. The Thai tea crepe cake was absolutely delicious. I love crepe cakes, and the flavor on this one was just perfect. The lychee cheesecake was the star of the show. It was rich, creamy, and paired perfectly with a side of lychee ice cream. It was just incredible. We also tried the strawberry milk tea and regular milk tea, and both were delicious and generously sized. This place is such a great spot for dessert, and I honestly loved everything here. I can't wait to come back.

Please come here, the best dessert ever. Flavors are amazing and the service is great. Recommend for a cute date night.

SF has no shortage of aesthetic desserts and U:Dessert Story lives up to its hype. The Young Coconut Pandan Crepe Cake is phenomenal, I have had many other flavored crepe cakes but the coconut was my first and I loved it! Ube Biscoff Bingsu is so photogenic! I am glad it tasted as good as it looked, was creamy yet light. The Thai Tea Crepe Cake was my least favorite so I wish I had ordered something else instead- like their Ube mochi waffle. I guess that leaves some excitement for next time?
